Attention Seniors and Senior Parents! Don't forget we will be going to the College & Career Fair at MSU-Billings Tuesday, September 20. Seniors received their permission forms last week. If they have not yet returned them, they need to do so ASAP. They must be turned in prior to loading the bus on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Seniors have the opportunity to visit colleges, universities, and trade schools both in Montana, as well as out-of-state schools. All branches of the military will also be in attendance. They have added a Career Fair this year as well. After the fair, we will tour MSU-Billings, as well as City College. We will eat lunch on the campus of MSU-B, which is provided to our students at no cost. We will then return to RHS prior to the end of the school day. This is designed to be an informative day for our Seniors to prepare them for their next steps after high school.
Roundup Families, we would like to address the unexpected COVID message that went out on Wednesday regarding our athletics program. We understand that the post caused concern, and we apologize for the confusion the post may have caused. It was brought to the site leadership's attention that multiple students were ill within our athletics program, and it would be difficult to field some of the teams. Out of an abundance of caution after communication with coaches and trainers it was decided to cancel those activities and allow students to get well. It was explained to families due to the symptoms that if they had a concern they were welcome to have their students tested. Students were sent home with the guidance that if they showed symptoms they should stay home until they were symptom free. This is guidance we would give to all families with students who don’t feel well. Families are encouraged to clear their students’ absences with their school site office. The absences will be marked as excused. Thank you for understanding. Roundup Public Schools wishes everyone a wonderful weekend.
The Ag Ed Department is excited today. THE CHICKENS ARE HERE!
