Superintendent's Message
Welcome to Roundup Public Schools
My name is Josiah Mayfield, and I serve as the Superintendent for Roundup Public Schools. Our Roundup School District is comprised of a K-6 Elementary School and a 7th-12th grade Junior High/High School. We have approximately 560 students K-12. This is a small tight knit district, with advantages like small class size, teacher support, and student intervention resources.
The mission of the Roundup Public Schools is to challenge and empower each student to maximize individual potential and become a competent, productive, responsible and caring citizen. Students, families, educators and the community are committed to sharing the responsibility for creating a student-centered educational community that acknowledges learning as a life-long process.
Our faculty and staff are invested in this community. Our employees serve in many roles both in the district and throughout the community. Staff members can be seen coaching athletics, advising students in 4-H, and participating with a variety of community organizations. This community engagement provides a more personal experience for your student.
The Roundup Board of Trustees are a dedicated group of professionals who work hard to provide governance that is fair and equitable for all students. Our board members work hard to develop policies, hire high quality employees, and commit personal time volunteering on our campuses.
On behalf of the Roundup Public Schools, I would like to express that we look forward to hearing from our families. We encourage your engagement in the programs we offer students. If you have questions or concerns, please bring them to our attention.
Once again, welcome to Roundup Public Schools. We are excited for the 2023-24 school year to commence.
Sincerely,
Josiah Mayfield, Superintendent
